Life would be boring if less was more!!!

Hi Dolls-
So I recently was featured on Fashion Bomb daily and  my my my I got a couple of comments saying I wear way too many accessories and that I should follow the fashion rule which says "LESS IS MORE"  Umm I will agree to that in some cases yea, definitely, but come on guys if we all walked around looking the same what fun would that be seriously we are all individuals for a reason, a person only has style if they make it their own...who cares about the rules...Who would have ever thought that you could mix prints and it would look FAB or a person could  wear Orange&Blue and not be laughed at in the street . or wear white after labor day.. or stockings with open toe shoes, but we do it any way because its in style, right?? and because its fashionable, now if  next season the new trend is wearing tons of accessories  trust me everyone will be doing it . But guess what I am not gonna wait until someone says its "COOL" I'm gonna just do it because its MEEE!!! not necessarily for you and that's ok.  there are tons of bloggers who I admire but I may not like every single item but they own it  and it looks fab on them and I always leave being inspired!!Plus I bet  with all those negative comments they all will remember me as the girl from New York who wore tons of accessories which meant I left an impact hahahahha  good or bad :)  oh I was also featured Here

  1. Congrats on your feature! I don't think there's a rule to how many accessories you should wear. If you look & feel fab then to hell with what anyone else says! I love how you keep it brand new. Your style is unique, yes but why would we all wanna look the same?

  3. When will people learn that style is subjective?!? I know my style isn't for everyone but the operative word is "MY" style. Congrats on the features and this outfit is HOT! Accessories and all! Love the tights. :)

    1. love this post!!! I love the way you rock your clothes and u make them your own!!! Like you said everyone is different and I'd rather have out there fashion sense than none at all. I rocked orange blue and leopard!! Whose gonna check me boo?!!! I find that fashion bomb daily comments are borderline trollish that's why I haven't submitted yet.

  7. Well first I think you are a beautiful girl. I am one of those people who adheres to some of those fashion rules. My pet peeve is when I see people just throw on clothes with the thought that it all works. Good fashion is appealing to the eye young lady. When you are noticed people do a double take like wow that looks great together. It is an art and art is subjective of course. I think you are still young and you will mature in your style as you grow older. But let me share something with you. I grew up in New York City in the 70's and 80's. I use to wear a gold ring on every finger. I use to have layers and layers of gold chains like Mr. T. My husband who grew up well todo. Well he was my boyfriend back then. He said why do you wear so many rings. Put on one nice ring on each ring finger. Kelly I was kind of like you. You can't tell me how to dress. But then I notice other women who wore one or two rings. Then I got it. Today I have more rings than I have ever owned. I just don't wear them all together. Thanks for stopping by my spot Kelly.   19. Kudos to you Kelly! Who the heck really follows "fashion rules" nowadays??? Honestly, my only fashion role is to wear garments that fit my body type. Everything else is whatever I feel. That's true personal style....not conforming to what others may think.

  20. In the words of terrible role model for teens and Humans alike Nikki Minaj...Kelly done "Did it on 'em" ... Girl everything about this outfit is hott! and I love those Stockings and your hair!! As for the haters... Tell them to take several seats and kick multiple rocks with open toed sandal wedges on! You wouldn't be Kelly if you didnt do YOU and accessorize to your hearts desire. The golden rule may be less is more to some ladies but there is also a rule that says "Get out my business and go put more acessories on your plain lookin self"... Ok well I just made that up but I think you give a different outlook to fashion. I love the way dress and I know X an the hubby do too so keep doing you BOO! lol
